Is College Worth It?
“Is College Worth It?” is a radio wrap that is completely produced, edited, sourced and recorded by myself. My newsworthy topic is talking about if college is worth the investment? To add complexity to the story, I interview two young professionals who have been in their careers for at least five years. They help the listener come to a conclusion about how their lives and experiences made college worth the time and money.

Simone Biles Eighth U.S Championship
Through a collaborative in-class assignment, myself and a partner created a news piece discussing Simone Biles’ most recent U.S Championship win that occurred in Aug. 2023. Through this piece there is an anchor, reporter and an interview with an expert. We created this piece as if the event just happened and are reporting on it just a day or two later.
My Perfect Day Monologue

To gain a larger understanding of podcasting and more creative audio work that is outside of hard news, “My Perfect Day” is a monologue piece I created to depict my personal perfect day. It is more a character story in the voice of the speaker. This was one of the final assignments for the broadcast radio course.
